Oscar Navarro will write the soundtrack for the movie “La Mula” by Michael Radford, director Oscar nominee for “The Postman.” Co-produced Spanish-English and Irish, promises to be one of the most attractive premieres this year. The Mule is a gripping and unusual story about the last months of fighting in the trenches of the Spanish Civil War, narrated in a comic way and based on the novel by Juan Eslava Galan. With just over seven million budget, the film is one of the biggest productions in recent years in the country and has a large cast of young Spanish actors led by Mario Casas, Secun de la Rosa, Maria Valverde, Jorge Suquet, Jesus Carroza and Pepa Rus.
